I assembled the visual and production decisions into an exhibition package for the designer continuing the work. It includes the guiding principles, colour palette, label formats and locations, sample layouts, typography and quotation styles, approaches to sombre content, object-label options, and detailed instructions for typesetting and preparing images.

The decisions had been presented to and approved by the curators, exhibition designer and the Indigenous Advisory Committee.

The package shows both the extent and the limit of my role. I established the graphic direction and designed the system through which the galleries’ content would be presented. The many individual labels still required layout, adaptation and production after I left. This page documents the thinking and design work I contributed before that handoff.
