Shake Up was a small-format exhibition project created while MOA was undergoing a major seismic upgrade. It looked at earthquakes through a mix of science, history, Indigenous knowledge, preparedness and examples from around the world. The whole exhibit occupied two large walls and a lightbox display ledge, but there was a lot packed into it. It was originally meant to be short-lived and ended up staying on view for four years.
